REVERE – Fire officials said a two-alarm blaze displaced 10 people early Monday morning, but there were no major injuries reported.Firefighters responded at 6:42 a.m. Monday to reports of a fire at 930-934 Winthrop Ave. and struck a second alarm, and then made a special request for additional apparatus within 10 minutes of arriving at the scene, Revere Deputy Chief James Cullen said Monday evening.He described the building as a wood-framed apartment building with seven units. Nobody was seriously injured in the blaze, but a few firefighters reported minor injuries but remained on duty, Cullen said.He said the cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation and the building suffered “heavy damage throughout.”American Red Cross spokesperson Kat Powers said the organization provided a hotel stay and recovery funds for 10 people affected by the blaze.
