LYNN – A judge ordered a city man held without bail Wednesday after police said the man attacked his roommate, grabbing his testicles when the roommate complained about visitors to the apartment.”(The alleged victim) then stated he went to bed, naked, when (the defendant) came into his bed and began to physically attack him,” Lynn Police Officer Mark Nerich wrote in a report. “(The alleged victim) stated that (the defendant) scratched him and squeezed his testicles, cutting his scrotum.”Michael J. Turner, 43, of 42 West Baltimore St. #28, was arrested and charged with assault and battery; and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over; on Tuesday. He was arraigned on the charges Wednesday in Lynn District Court where a plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf.Police responded to a report of a domestic incident at the Baltimore Street apartment and met the alleged victim, 60. He was “completely naked and had dried-up blood on his genitals and his right leg as well as numerous scratches on his chest and neck area,” according to police. The alleged victim claimed he was raped, and directed officers to the back bedroom where Turner had barricaded himself inside, according to police. Turner denied any fight, however, but said the alleged victim was drunk, according to the report.Police said the alleged victim told officers he rented a room to Turner and he suspects Turner brings people into the apartment to do drugs. The two allegedly argued about the noise and traffic in the apartment, and it became physical.Police said the man reported he was not assaulted in any other way than his testicles being grabbed.Prosecutors requested Turner be held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing. Lynn District Court Judge Emily Karstetter accepted the request and scheduled Turner to return to court today.
