LYNN – A judge found a city man to be dangerous and ordered him held without bail until trial, after a woman told the court the man slammed her head against the floor and slapped her after she rebuffed his sexual advances.”At this time (the alleged victim) told him ?no’ and pulled away ? however, at this point (the defendant) jumped up and grabbed (her) by the neck and slammed her to the floor,” Lynn Police Officer Mark Holey wrote in a report. “Once he had her on the floor he slammed her head twice against the floor.”Eric Noyola, 19, of 32 Baker St. #2, was arrested on a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; assault and battery; and witness intimidation; Jan. 14He was arraigned on the charges that day in Lynn District Court where a plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf, according to court documents. Judge James LaMothe accepted the Commonwealth’s request that Noyola be held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing last Thursday.The alleged victim told police she had met Noyola on Facebook and they got together to watch a movie on Dec. 11 when Noyola started to “kiss on her” and tried to pull down her pants, police said.The alleged victim said Noyola became enraged when she protested, slamming her head against the floor, slapping her in the face and covering her mouth as she tried to yell for help, according to court documents. When she allegedly escaped Noyola’s grasp, she told him she would call police.”At this point, Noyola stated to her, ?I’m going to give you something to call the police about if you do call them,'” police reported.Testimony in the dangerousness hearing also involved an open case where Noyola is alleged to have violated a restraining order by shoving his mother after an argument over a phone, according to court records. Court documents note it was the second time he had been charged with assaulting his mother. An Essex District Attorney spokesperson said there are just two open cases involving Noyola, however.Following the alleged victim’s testimony last Thursday, Essex Assistant District Attorney Katelyn Giliberti requested Noyola be found dangerous and be held without bail pending trial, citing a history of escalating domestic violence.Judge James LaMothe ordered Noyola held pending trial, according to court documents.
