The Peabody boys basketball team defeated city rival Bishop Fenwick 66-61 on Monday evening, holding off a humongous fourth quarter from the visiting Crusaders, who outscored the Tanners 30-18 in the final eight minutes before succumbing.?Bishop Fenwick is a great team and they got very hot at the end of the game,” explained Peabody coach Thad Broughton. “We were very lucky to get out of here with a victory tonight.”The Tanners were led by Matt Correale, who scored a game-high 25 points. Brian Onessimo added 16 points for Peabody (4-8), which kept its tournament hopes alive.
