LYNN – Marvin Avery, who led Lynn Tech boys basketball to numerous state tournament appearances, two state finals and one Division 3 state championship during his tenure as coach, has resigned, he told The Item today.Avery, who is a court officer, said he was stepping down for personal reasons and did not elaborate.
