SAUGUS – Saugus Police said they are reviewing security footage but have so far made no arrests after a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the buttocks at the Square One Mall food court on Sunday.”We are currently reviewing video footage to attempt to identify those involved and will follow up with the appropriate charges,” Saugus Police Lt. Ronald Giorgetti said Monday afternoon.Mall security called Saugus Police at 5:27 p.m. Sunday reporting that four people may have gotten into a fight at the food court of the Square One Mall. Two females left the immediate area while two men went to the restroom, one suffering an injury to his face, according to an entry in the Saugus Police log.Officers reported finding a 20-year-old man with a stab wound to his buttocks, Giorgetti said. He said the alleged victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation of non-life threatening injuries. The log entry notes two suspects – a black male in his 20s last seen wearing a tan coat; and a white man in his 20s last seen wearing a black coat. The white man was reportedly carrying the knife, according to the log.Giorgetti could not confirm whether the individuals remained suspects, however, as he said police were in the process of reviewing footage of the incident. He said no arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon.
