SALEM – Authorities said a body pulled from the Saugus River on Friday has been identified as a local man.Essex District Attorney Spokesperson Carrie Kimball-Monahan Tuesday identified the deceased as a 60-year-old resident of Saugus.Kimball-Monahan said foul play is not suspected in the death.The deceased had been reported missing Feb. 2. State and local police along with a dive team from Cambridge and Saugus firefighters searched the Saugus River off of Hamilton Street for several days after it was reported that a vehicle had been left in the area unattended for some time.Kimball-Monahan also said the body of a 49-year-old Lynn man was recovered in Lynn Woods last Wednesday afternoon. No foul play is expected in that incident either.
