LYNN – Police said a city teen and his father fought off a Chelsea man who stabbed the teen when trying to get into the family’s Essex Street home Thursday. The pair then caught up with the fleeing assailant and subdued him as police arrived Thursday afternoon.
Samson Beauregard, 40, of Chelsea, was arrested and charged with armed home invasion; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a knife; and possession with intent to distribute Class D marijuana at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday, according to Lynn Police.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in Lynn District Court Friday morning.
