LYNN – A judge ordered a city woman held without bail after a man told police the woman threatened to kill him and then threatened to castrate him before robbing his apartment.”(The defendant) ran after him and while in front of the first-floor apartment (she) grabbed (the alleged victim) by his testicles and she stated if ?you don’t want me to cut them off, let’s go upstairs.'”Jackeline Hernandez, 31, of 53 Arlington St. #6, was arrested on a warrant for armed robbery; kidnapping; witness intimidation; assault with a dangerous weapon; and threat to commit a crime; at 4:58 p.m. Sunday.Hernandez was arraigned on the charges Monday in Lynn District Court where a plea of not guilty was entered on her behalf.The alleged victim reported to police on Feb. 6 that he had recently met Hernandez again after 14 years and she had moved into his apartment because she was homeless, according to police.On Feb. 5, Hernandez allegedly tried to sell the alleged victim a gold ring and a computer, then allegedly sold the items to an unknown man for drugs.The alleged victim said Hernandez used the drugs and then came into his room and asked him to turn on the lights and television.He said he had to sleep, and she allegedly returned with a knife.”At that point (the defendant) was holding a kitchen knife stating, ?I am going to kill you, all men are alike,'” Lynn Police Officer Max Saravia wrote in a report.The alleged victim told police Hernandez also threatened to kill her brother and then herself. Fearing for his life, the alleged victim said he faked a seizure and, when the defendant went to get a glass of water, tried to escape.The alleged victim said he could not escape Hernandez’s grasp.Hernandez then allegedly stole a computer, a Playstation 3, a phone and $400 cash from the alleged victim. Hernandez also allegedly threatened to have the alleged victim deported if he reported the incident.The alleged victim described Hernandez as a light-skinned Puerto Rican woman with cuts on her arms and a panther tattoo on her chest, according to police.Police said they were familiar with Hernandez, who “has a history of violent crimes against Hispanic males, especially Guatemalans,” like the alleged victim, according to court documents.Essex Assistant District Attorney Andrew Boyd requested that Hernandez be held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.A court-appointed attorney did not challenge probable cause for the hearing, and Judge Joseph Jennings ordered Hernandez held pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday.
