CHELSEA – A judge ordered one Revere man held on prior charges and set $10,000 cash bail for another city man charged in connection with a shooting Sunday night at the Beachmont Dunkin’ Donuts.Police said the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a fight over buying a small amount of marijuana.”All of the involved parties are known to the police and several are known to be gang-involved,” Revere Police Chief Joseph Cafarelli said in a statement. “Police are continuing to investigate and are reviewing video evidence from the area.”Nelson Aguilar, 19, and Justin Montgomery, 18, both of Revere, were arraigned in Chelsea District Court Monday on charges of armed assault with intent to murder; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; and assault and battery; according to Suffolk District Attorney Deputy Press Secretary Renee Algarin.Police responded to the Beachmont Dunkin Donuts at approximately 9:45 p.m. Sunday on the report of shots fired, according to a statement from Cafarelli. Officers found a 21-year-old local resident at the scene with a gunshot wound to his hip. The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery, according to police.Police arrested Aguilar and Montgomery that night but police are continuing to investigate and review video evidence from the area.Suffolk Assistant District Attorney Myriam Feliz requested at the defendants’ arraignments that Aguilar be held on $50,000 cash bail and Montgomery be held on $25,000 cash bail for the charges.Feliz also requested the judge revoke Aguilar’s bail on two open cases out of Chelsea: a July 2013 possession with intent to distribute Class D drugs; and charges of larceny +$250; property violation; and two counts of possession of burglarious tools; according to Algarin.Judge Paul Yee ordered Montgomery held on $10,000 cash bail and set $50,000 cash bail for Aguilar. Yee also revoked Aguilar’s bail on the prior cases, ordering him held until trial.Both defendants are scheduled to return to court April 8.
