Collier said the car “was fully involved” in flames when firefighters arrived.Pembroke resident Taylor Dutton, 19, said he was driving behind the Chevrolet sedan when the driver hit the pole.?He flipped at least three times in the air. As soon as the car landed, I pulled over and called 911,” Dutton said.Dutton said two other men helped him pull the driver out of the burning car.?He had a cut on his forehead and looked dazed,” Dutton said.State Police responded with ambulance crews and firefighters to the accident scene. Police officers steered early rush hour traffic around the accident along both sides of the Lynnway as traffic backed up on the roadway and clogged Market, Broad and other downtown streets.Collier said the toppled pole left live electrical wires on the roadside.
