PEABODY – Krystle Campbell was one of the three victims killed in the Boston Marathon bombings. A Medford High graduate, she worked tirelessly to fund her education at the University of Massachusetts.Her enthusiasm for learning, dedication to her family and remarkable work ethic live on in the scholarship fund established in her name. The Krystle Campbell Scholarship fund will support educational opportunities for women at The University of Massachusetts.Saturday beginning at 7 p.m., there will be a comedy night and music fundraiser at the Peabody Elks Club on Oak Street, Peabody, to support The Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund.The event will be catered by executive chef Marco Salerno, owner of ExclusiveChefs and his team. Local comedian Bob Berry will emcee the entertainment of comedians Greg Boggis, Debi Braconi and headliner local comedy legend Jerry Caruso. After the comedy, music and dancing will be provided by local DJs DJ Don Mateo and DJ Capt’n Kirk.Throughout the evening there will be raffles of insanely awesome Red Sox tickets, concert seats, art work and much more.Tickets can be purchased for $25 per person or $200 for a reserved table of 10 by contacting Adam McClain, Lauren Campbell McClain, Mike Ouellette or $25 at the door on the day of the event.
