BEVERLY – Before kicking off their multi-state spring tour by performing at the 2014 Blues Music Awards in Memphis, Tenn., Best New Artists nominee Gracie Curran & The High Falutin? Band will rock Beverly’s Larcom Theatre next Saturday, April 5, with a horn section from the legendary Roomful of Blues Band and Bruce Bears on keys.This will be the band’s first live performance, with a full horn section, of songs from their critically acclaimed debut album, Proof of Love.?”We’re really excited to perform these songs with their original horn arrangements and the great Bruce Bears on keys at this gorgeous venue close to our home,” said Gracie Curran, who co-wrote the songs on the album. “This is the best way to hear our music.”?The Alternate Root Magazine calls Gracie’s new album “A five-alarm stew of blues, gospel and soul that burns in your gut like the first time you heard Aretha Franklin…”?Another rising blues star, Lydia Warren, opens the show.
