SAUGUS – Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a disabled, non-verbal man who walked away from his residential home Saturday.”He doesn’t speak, has limited capabilities as a disabled male and is in need of his medication, he hasn’t had his medication in 24 hours,” Saugus Police Assistant Chief Ronald Giorgetti said Sunday.Joseph Martin, 61, 47 Lincoln Ave., is described as a white male, 5-foot 9-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds and with gray hair and hazel eyes. Martin was last seen wearing a red jacket, black pants, black shoes and a black stocking cap.Martin is being monitored by a GPS unit, and the last GPS signal came from the MBTA Station at Wonderland in Revere at 3 p.m. Saturday.Police are asking anybody who may have seen Martin or may know his whereabouts to contact the Saugus Police at 781-231-4000.Giorgetti said foul play is not suspected.
