LYNN – A judge ordered $1,500 and $1,000 cash bail for two New Hampshire residents stopped for speeding and allegedly found with more than 30 grams of cocaine, painkillers and a stun gun.”(The female suspect) continued to act extremely nervous and was continually adjusting her pants to the point where I asked her if she put something in her crotch,” Massachusetts State Trooper Scott Quigley wrote in a police report. “She got very animated and began yelling, ?no I swear, I don’t have any drugs, I don’t even do drugs,’ even though I never mentioned drugs to her.”Jonathan Martinelli, 25, of 302 Grafton St., Berlin, N.H., was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; a marked-lanes violation; and speeding; at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday.Heather Norman, 19, of 392 Standard St., Berlin, N.H., was arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine; possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs; and possession of an electric stun gun; at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday.Both were arraigned in Lynn District Court later Tuesday morning and pleas of not guilty were entered on each defendant’s behalf.Trooper Quigley reported being on patrol on Route 1 North in Saugus when a car approached at an estimated 70-75 mph while passing other vehicles and moving erratically.Police described the driver, Martinelli, who admitted not having a license, as sweating and with shaking hands. Meanwhile, a passenger in the backseat was continually sticking her hands underneath her jacket and near her waist, police noted.Police arrested Martinelli for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and allegedly found five small bags of suspected cocaine in a pack of cigarettes Martinelli had allegedly tried to stuff down the side of a seat.Police reported finding the stun gun in a purse belonging to Norman, the passenger in the back seat. But she denied having any drugs, despite being told she would be searched during booking. Police found four bags of suspected cocaine underneath Norman’s bra and a bag of suspected cocaine and 100 pills of suspected Oxycodone stuffed into her underwear, according to reports.Prosecutor requested $25,000 cash bail for each defendant, noting that each had out-of-state records.Lynn District Court Judge Cesar Archilla ordered $1,500 cash bail for Martinelli and $1,000 cash bail for Norman, scheduling them to return to court April 24.
