The Swampscott High boys lacrosse team was firing on all cylinders in a 10-2 win over Revere Monday at Revere.On the offensive end, Alex Balleva (3 goals, 2 assists) and Jason Digman (3 goal, assist) did the bulk of the damage with Digman also doing an outstanding job on faceoffs, winning 10 of 15.”Jason Digman’s a difference maker,” Swampscott coach Todd Pierce said. “He’s won 76 percent of his faceoffs (in the first three games) … that’s a huge difference maker. We get to control the ball that much extra.”Griffin Hunt had a goal and six ground balls; Joe Silva had five ground balls and Tim Costin, four ground balls.The Patriots (0-2) had goals from Marco Mazzarelli and Jay Seigal. Mike Dreeszen had an excellent game on defense and Doug Zingali was solid in net. We just couldn’t score.”Richards also credited defensemen Anthony Sure, Billy Ferreras, Anthony Hernandez-Felix and Justin Taylor with playing well.Lexington 8, Marblehead 7At Marblehead, the Magicians (1-2) trailed 5-1 at the half, but went on a tear to eventually take a 7-6 lead.Lexington tied the game to send it into overtime and then won it with 14 seconds remaining.Ben Anderson (3 goals, assist); Dean Fader (2 goals, 2 assists) and Liam Gillis and Sam Paquette, one goal each, supplied the offense.
