LYNN – A judge ordered a city man held without bail after police said the man raped a 14-year-old girl at knifepoint.Isabel Contreras-Vasquez, 29, of 14 Essex Circle #3, was arrested and charged with aggravated rape; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; resisting arrest; witness intimidation; and disorderly conduct; at 4:29 a.m. Monday.A plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf at his arraignment later that afternoon in Lynn District Court.Police responded to the Essex Circle address after the 14-year-old alleged victim called police and said she had just been sexually assaulted by a man still in the apartment, Lynn Police Officer Devon Dupuis wrote in a report.Police said the alleged victim was hysterically crying when she came to the door and told responding officers the suspect, later identified as Contreras-Vasquez, had fled down the back stairway.Police said they saw and heard the suspect fleeing and caught up with him as he tried to climb a fence and then fight off pursuing officers.Officers returned to the apartment where the alleged victim said she awoke around 2 a.m. and saw Contreras-Vasquez standing in the doorway of her bedroom and holding a knife.”Contreras-Vasquez mounted her; holding the knife to her body and covering her mouth saying, ?if you scream I will kill you,'” police said the alleged victim reported.The alleged victim told police Contreras-Vasquez then molested and raped her before leaving the room, according to the report. Police said the alleged victim positively identified Contreras-Vasquez, and the alleged victim was taken to the hospital for medical care. Officers noted no visible injuries to the alleged victim, however.Essex Assistant District Attorney Mark Byron and public defender Donna Cuipylo agreed for Contreras-Vasquez to be held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on April 14.Lynn District Court Judge James LaMothe accepted the agreement.
