Emily Messinger and Kapoll each knocked in runs in the seventh. Sara Bornstein went 2-4 with a double and single.Everett 4, Swampscott 0At Swampscott, the Big Blue ran into some tough pitching in Everett’s Sydnee Bessler, a transfer from Matignon, who struck out 14 and was a party to several other outs.?She probably made 18 outs in the game,” Swampscott coach Frank Kowalski said.Sam Rizzon, Tessa Beane and Danielle Mayblyum all had hits.
