The Lynn Tech baseball team came up short in a dramatic 12-9 loss to Minuteman Tuesday at Fraser Field.The game was tied 9-9 heading into the seventh inning. Minuteman scored three runs to take a 12-9 lead and then fended off a late push by the Tigers, who left two on base to end the game.Tech shortstop Arlin Reynoso had a big day at the plate, going 3-for-5, scoring three runs and stealing two bases. Rodinson Aguilar made a diving stop at third base with the game tied 8-8 in the sixth and threw across the diamond to get the out. He also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.The Tigers are 0-2.GIRLS LACROSSESt. Mary?s 16, Marian 9At Manning Field, Maggie Flaherty and Hannah Walker each scored four goals for the Spartans (4-2), in a game that also featured the first varsity goals from Courtney Cassidy and Ellie Martin. Emma Harvey was solid in net in the win. The Spartans never trailed, taking a 10-4 lead into the half.Salem 11, Revere 0At Bertram Field, the Witches (3-0) had strong performances from Alex Gilbert and Marissa Romeo, who had three goals each. Lydia Grasberger, Emily Coelho, Nicole Sadoway, Julia Donahue and Camryn Connolly had one goal each.Salem also had some stellar defense from Gabby Rocheville, who forced five turnovers and recovered all five. Grasberger won five draw controls out of six draws and Abigail Meadowcroft had nine saves, five of them on penalty shots. Adrienne Ciccone and Corinne Mayle, four goals each, and Amanda Gregory and Lucy Poulin, three goals each, led the attack. Emily Freedland and Sydney Cayan had one goal each and Kelsey Detels, five draw controls, an interception and a ground ball.
