LYNN – Police arrested two juveniles in connection with the stabbing of a 19-year-old city resident outside the Lynn Museum Wednesday afternoon.”It appears an argument escalated into a fight,” Lynn Police Lt. Dave Brown said Wednesday night.Police responded to Central Square and found a man lying on his back, holding his abdomen, Brown reported. Officers provided first aid until Lynn Fire and Atlantic Ambulance arrived at the scene and took over medical care. The alleged victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.Dunkin’ Donuts worker Jarel Serrano said a man ran into the Central Square coffee shop and said, “I got stabbed, call 911.” Serrano said the victim walked out of Dunkin’ Donuts when he saw police cruisers converge on Central Square.Serrano said the victim appeared to have been stabbed on the right side of his stomach.Police investigating the incident subsequently located two teenage boys who matched the description of the involved parties, Brown said. The boys, both juveniles, were stopped and questioned and subsequently each was charged with delinquency by reason of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit a knife. The two were taken into custody by the Department of Youth Services and are expected to be arraigned in Lynn Juvenile Court today.
