LYNN – Police said the driver of a vehicle was uninjured when his car window was shot out early Saturday morning.”He was lucky,” Lynn Police Lt. Lucas Dean said Sunday night.Police responded to Sheridan and Essex streets at 1:01 a.m. Saturday on the report of a gunshot, according to the police log. The alleged incident appears to have occurred, however, on Rockaway Street in the Highlands, where officers recovered shell casings from multiple gun shots, Dean said.He reported nobody was injured in the incident, but it appears an individual was driving when someone shot at the vehicle, breaking one of the vehicle’s windows. Police had not made any arrests in the matter as of Sunday evening, and Dean said the incident remains under investigation.Dean noted that police received other reports of gunshots this weekend that turned to be fireworks in celebration of the Cambodian New Year.
