Equitable Bank celebrates 10 years on Broadway in Lynn

LYNN – The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee on Monday held a ribbon cutting for Equitable Bank, at the bank’s Main Office, 400 Broadway, Lynn, to celebrate Equitable’s new initiatives to enable home ownership, its newly remodeled mortgage center and its 10-year anniversary at the 400 Broadway main office. Along with the remodeled retail area, Equitable has a complete mortgage department for locally underwriting and processing mortgages. In addition, Equitable has recently partnered with MassHousing to offer additional home loan products. Equitable Bank was founded in 1877 primarily to make affordable home mortgages and is the only remaining community bank headquartered in Lynn. After the ribbon cutting, guests were treated to a catered breakfast by Rolly’s Tavern on the Square. For more information please call 781-599-5600 or go to www.equitablebank.comFlannery’s Handyman sends furniture donation to AfricaLYNN – Todd Flannery, owner of Flannery’s Handyman of 19 Allerton St., recently cleared his furniture warehouse to send furniture items to Africa to support families in need.”We’ve been talking about doing this for a while now,” says Flannery. “We’re making an effort in my company to go green and that mean recycling the furniture in the warehouse.
