LACC seminars to focus on reaching Hispanic market

LYNN – The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce will present a business Workshop Series entitled Beyond Translations: “Strategies for Your Business to Reach the Hispanic Market” on Tuesday, April 29 and Tuesday, May 6 at Eastern Bank, One Eastern Place, Lynn 8-10:30 a.m.Guest facilitator will be Eduardo Crespo, a bilingual/bicultural professional with over 20 years of national U.S. Hispanic marketing, advertising, public relations and business development experience. His clients include Comcast, KeySpan, P&G, PepsiCo, AutoNation, Hill Holliday, Boston Globe, American Airlines, Domino’s Pizza, Trans National Travel (TNT), Goya, Western Union, Bank of America, Radio Shack, Dominican Republic Tourism Bureau, Budweiser, National Mortgage and many other regional accounts.The April 29 workshop will provide attendees an Hispanic market overview, focusing on history, key demographic indicators, consumption practices and behaviors, as well as clarifying myths and misinterpretations.The May 6 workshop will explore marketing plan development that reviews many critical issues before a company enters the Latino market.”Businesses not only need to be innovative and market oriented but also should consider expanding their business footprint to include Hispanic and multicultural consumers that will pay off in the long run by creating loyal customers,” Crespo said.Crespo is founder and CEO of Hispanic Market Solutions, a Boston (Methuen) company that specializes in helping companies understand, reach and service the U.S. Hispanic market.LACC President/CEO Leslie Gould said, “Breaking in to the Hispanic market is more than just knowing the language; it’s learning a diverse culture, practices and sociology.
