Sam Rizzo led off the fifth inning with a double, went to third on a bunt and scored what would be the game-winner on an error.Fenwick 11, Matignon 9At Cambridge, the Crusaders (1-2) trailed 3-0 after one inning, went up by three, 9-6, in the top of the seventh and then saw Matignon score three in the bottom of the inning to tie the game at 9-9.Fenwick went ahead for good in the top of the ninth on a two-run gap-shot home run by Gavy Hart. Brianna Hemeon had delivered a clutch two-run double earlier in the game.Katie O?Brien (3-for-4), Mikayla Porcaro (2-for-4, 2 RBI) and Brianna Hemeon, two-run double, led the way offensively for Fenwick.Peabody 3, Triton 1At Peabody, the Tanners (2-1) spotted Triton a run in the top of the fourth but came back in the bottom of the inning to score three runs. Dom DelBone (2-for-3); Taylor Davney (RBI single) and Nicole Graffton (2 hits) led the offense. Shelbi Wilson (5 hits, 7 strikeouts, 4 walks) picked up the win.Danvers 15, Winthrop 2At Winthrop, the Vikings, who are missing several starters, including their pitcher, catcher and center fielder due to injuries, had a tough outing. Danvers scored 12 earned runs on 13 hits. Winthrop (1-2) had three hits, including a double by Taylor Thomas. Kendall Meehan picked up the win for Danvers.In other action, North Shore Tech defeated Salem, 10-1.
