She also scored twice and drove in two. Abby Weaver?s RBI single in the fifth helped the Pioneers put the game away.Jackie Whelan (3 innings), Sadie Oliver (2 innings) and Kassey Keane (2 innings) combined for the win.Revere 15, English 3At English, a combination of Bulldog errors and Revere hitting put English in an 11-3 hole after three innings. Shanna Zeramby (5 hits, 2 walks, 2 strikeouts) got the start and went three innings. Franny Dela Rosa pitched the last three (12-run rule in the sixth).Zeramby (2-for-3) drove in all three English (1-5) runs on a home run in the third inning.Noel MacDonald (6 hits, 5 strikeouts, 3 walks, 3 earned runs) got the win for the Patriots (5-0). Ally Hinojosa had a day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four runs scored and three RBI, and Cassandra DeBella went 2-for-3, 2 runs.Marblehead 4, Everett 2At Marblehead, the Magicians (3-3) picked up a win, but it may have been a costly one. Shortstop Olivia Vener injured her wrist in the first inning and had to leave the game. She was replaced by freshman Montana Joyce, who had a hit, two putouts and an assist.Vener?s single before she was injured led to Marblehead?s first run. In the third inning, Joyce and Emily Messinger singled and both scored on a hit by Sarah Bornstein. The Magicians added one more run in the second when Messinger knocked in Ally Kapoll, who had walked.Michaela LeBlanc (6 hits, 2 strikeouts) got the win.Newburyport 5, Saugus 4At Newburyport, Saugus (1-4) found itself trailing 4-0 heading into the seventh inning, but the Sachem bats came to life and they managed to tie the game. Genna Talluto had an RBI single for the first run and Jessica Allen knocked in the second. Brooke Westmoreland drove in two more to tie the game. The Clippers, however, came back with a run in the bottom of the inning for the win. Malden 14, Beverly 5At Beverly, Kate Silvestri went 2-for-2, scored a run and drove in two in a losing cause for the Panthers (2-2). Emily Pitman took the loss, but had a hit and an RBI double. Jackie Pia pitched well in the loss and got her first varsity hit.
