Saugus police search for robbery suspect

SAUGUS – Police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed a beauty supply store with a pink stun gun Monday morning.A caller from Sally’s Beauty Supply by Marshalls on Route 1 reported at 9:15 a.m. Monday that she was just robbed, according to the Saugus Police log.The caller reported a clean-shaven black male about 5 feet4 inches tall had a pink stun gun and emptied approximately $200 from the register and safe. The suspect was described as wearing a red plaid shirt, a baseball cap, sunglasses and reportedly fled in a newer, four-door black sedan toward Lynn Fells Parkway, police said. A weapon was shown and was described as a pink stun gun.The caller also reported the suspect stole her iPhone.Saugus Assistant Chief Ronald Giorgetti said no arrests had been made as of Monday evening.
