The Marblehead High boys tennis team remains undefeated in Northeastern Conference play with Beverly its latest victim, 4-1, at Beverly.The Magicians (8-2 overall, 8-0 NEC) had a win from Miles Barry at second singles who defeated a senior exchange student from Japan, Masaya Okumuru, 7-5, 6-2. Dimitri Vlassov kept his undefeated record (8-0) intact with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Christian Ayer in third singles.In doubles, Jason Frost and Griffin Butterfield defeated Eno Jahas-Connor Truig, 6-2, 6-3, and Michael Forte-Justin Faia defeated Chris Carbone-Martin Blohmer, 6-1, 6-3.St. Mary?s 4, Arl. Cath. 1At Arlington, the Spartans improved to 9-2 on the strength of three singles wins, including No. 1 Brady Ryan?s 6-2, 6-2 victory. St. Mary?s Matt McManus (6-1, 6-4) and Patrick Morin-Plante (6-0, 6-1) were victorious along with the first doubles tandem of Noah Camelo-Conor Foley (6-0, 6-2).Swampscott 4, Revere 1At Revere, the Big Blue (4-4) took the first two singles matches with Nazar Babayez winning 6-2, 6-2, and Ian Crimmins, 6-4, 6-1. Swampscott took both doubles matches with Erick Eaton-Mike Pindrus winning 6-3, 6-0, and Dan Jacobson-Nate Ryan winning 7-6, 6-0, in the second spot. Revere won third singles by forfeit because Swampscott did not have enough players.Pentucket 4, Lynnfield 1At Pentucket, Lynnfield (3-4) got its win at third singles, from Mike Romano, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.Gloucester 5, English 0At Gloucester, Eddie Ayinla played well in the loss, dropping his match at second singles, 4-6, 4-6.
