LYNN – A General Electric employee was ordered to have no avoidable contact with a coworker he allegedly videotaped showering in the company locker room.”Once he was done showering, (the alleged victim) returned to his work station where his co-worker (the defendant) showed (him) a video from a cell phone,” Lynn Police Officer Nhen Tran wrote in a police report. “According to the (alleged victim) the video depicted him in full nudity taking a shower in the men’s locker room. When he saw the video, he immediately recognized himself.”John Haley, 53, of 13 Old Jacobs Road, Georgetown, was arrested on a warrant for photographing an unsuspecting nude person, at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, according to court documents. He was arraigned in Lynn District Court that afternoon where a plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf. The alleged victim told police the incident occurred early April 19, and that he reported the allegations to security and his supervisor, hoping the defendant’s cell phone could be taken away, according to police. The supervisor allegedly said the phone could not be confiscated, and the alleged victim told police he wanted to file a report just to have a record of the incident. The officer noted the alleged victim said he was unaware he was being filmed and there is no history of a grudge or problem between himself and Haley, according to court documents. The officer also noted he did not see the video, as the alleged victim did not have a copy.Judge Albert Conlon ordered Haley to have no avoidable contact with the alleged victim and scheduled Haley to return to court June 20.A message left for Haley was not returned Friday evening.
