SALEM ? Former Lynn mayor Edward ?Chip’ Clancy has been hospitalized in Salem.
A hospital employee confirmed that Clancy was at the hospital, but would not comment on his condition Saturday afternoon.
According to Paul Halloran of Grant Communications, Clancy was found in his car outside the Lynn YMCA on Friday. A police log entry confirms a call for medical assistance at the Y’s address on Neptune Boulevard.
