LYNN – Caregiver Homes, which delivers training, support and financial assistance to family caregivers through its model Structured Family Caregiving, received a warm welcome from the Lynn community at its open house earlier this month. Roughly 50 people from the community welcomed Caregiver Homes to the neighborhood at its Liberty Street location. The event featured a ribbon cutting provided by the Lynn Chamber of Commerce, raffle drawing, and congressional citation from Rep. John Tierney.Massachusetts State Director Kelly Magee welcomed guests, specifically a Caregiver Homes caregiver and consumer ?Mayra Ruiz and her father Max Saravia. “You are the heart of what we do, and we are honored and humbled to serve you.””I’m so very thankful this program is available,” said Ruiz, daughter and caregiver to her father.
