LYNN ? Amanda Mena, the 11-year-old Lynn girl competing on La Voz Kids, has performed once again and voting is open for her to progress to the next round.
?La Voz Kids” is a Latino version of the hit competition show “The Voice,” and airs on Telemundo.
Amanda is a fifth-grader at Cobbet Elementary School in Lynn and the daughter of Martin and Miosotis Mena She developed her talents at the Lynn YMCA’s music studio.
The first episode of “La Voz Kids” aired on March 16 on Telemundo, and Amanda got all three coaches’ chairs to turn around right at the start, which is an indication of how much they like a singer. The coaches initially listen to singers without seeing them.
