LYNN – Police are seeking a woman who allegedly held up a shoe store with a hypodermic needle Wednesday afternoon.Lynn Police responded at approximately 12:16 p.m. Wednesday to the Payless Shoe Store at 98 Boston St. on the report of a robbery, Lynn Police Lt. Dave Brown said in an email.Police said a thin white female, who was approximately 20 to 30 years old, approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk. The woman allegedly threatened the clerk with a hypodermic needle before fleeing the store with an undetermined amount of cash, Brown reported.Brown said no arrests had been made as of Wednesday evening and that additional details are not being released due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
