In Lynn Summer Youth Track action at Manning Field Monday, 14-year-old Elijah Nosa won the mile with a time of 5:54. Jerry Ducasse took second (5:59.3) and Edgar Ortega, third (6:06). Nine-year-old Katie Dunn was the top female finisher (7:10).Jimenez Enderson, 15, of Lynn won the 400-meter race (1:09.3); with Llongo Kou, 16, finishing right behind him with a 1:09.6. Edgar Ortega, 16, took third (1:13.8). Olivia Martinez, 8, of Peabody was the first girl to finish (1:37.8).In the 50-meter race, Malik Porter, 11, from Lynn topped a field of 43 runners with a winning time of 8.2. Chloe Kebreau, 12, of Lynn took second (8.3) and Fenix Figueroa, 10, of Lynn, took third.Jerry Ducasse, 12, of Lynn won the 100-meter dash with a time of 15.2. Kaleb Habtegebriel, 13, was second (15.4); and Chloe Kebreau of Lynn, third (15.7).In the 200, Elijah Nosa, 14, took first (28.7); Jerry Ducasse, second (31.2) and Kaleb Habtegebriel, 13, third (32.5).In the 30-meter race, three-year-old Myles Walsh was first (11.8) with Riley Burt of Peabody and Nora Paul, both two-year-olds, taking second and third.The weekly races are open to youngsters from any community.
