SAUGUS – The Saugus Public Library Foundation presented a $7,000 donation to the library on May 15 to update and improve the facility’s early learning play space.According to a press release from the Saugus Public Library Foundation, this donation to the library is one of several within the past year. Past donations include a flat-screen TV for the library’s community room, a renewal for the library’s genealogy database and passes to the Museum of Science, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Children’s Museum.Saugus Public Library Foundation President Linda Call said in a press release, “As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Foundation, we are especially proud to announce that the early learning play space in the Children’s Room will be updated and provided with appropriate, comfortable furniture that will encourage parent/child learning experiences in this space.
