SAUGUS ? Saugus Police arrested two boys for allegedly breaking into a convenience store to steal cigarettes and lottery tickets, according to a statement from Police Chief Domenic DiMella.According to DiMella’s email, police responded to a burglar alarm at the Saugus Town Foodmart on Lincoln Avenue around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. Surveillance footage revealed two male suspects wearing dark clothing who broke in through the store’s front door to grab items from behind the counter.Soon after, police officers found two male juveniles on Lincoln Avenue near the Revere line who matched the description from the video, the email states. Officers searched the suspects and reportedly found them carrying more than 200 lottery tickets and several packs of cigarettes.The two juveniles were arrested and charged with breaking and entering during nighttime to commit a felony. One boy was charged with larceny over $250 and the other was charged with larceny under $250.
