West Lynn’s only hit came from Matt Devin in the sixth inning off Peabody reliever Alex Gonzalez.Peabody led 1-0 after four innings and added two more runs in the fifth with a couple of errors combined with some timely hitting doing the trick.West Lynn pitcher Will Hunter had a strong outing. Peabody tapped him for three consecutive hits in the fourth inning, but with no outs and the bases loaded, Hunter got a ball back to the mound and got the force at the plate and then went on to fan the next two batters to keep West Lynn in the hunt.
