The city announced that it will postpone the annual 4th of July fireworks display until Sunday, July 6.According to mayoral aide Mary Chalmers Fountain, the time and location of the events remains unchanged. Lynn Shore Drive from Nahant Street to Swampscott will be closed.Chalmers Fountain said that weather complications from Tropical Storm Arthur meant that the barge from which the fireworks are launched will not make it in time, requiring festivities be delayed.Marblehead also announced that their fireworks display (which is launched from the same barge) will take place on Saturday, July 5.
