The Pine Hill Rangers had the bats going in a 17-3 win over West Lynn Monday in City Series action at Wyoma.Dan Gisonno pitched into the third inning for Pine Hill and got the win, with Kyle Durant finishing up in relief. Pine Hill scored three runs in the first inning and blew things open in the second inning with seven runs.Colin Reddy, who won the Home Run Derby Sunday night and was named Pine Hill?s nominee for the Sonny Man Hill Award the same day, kept the momentum going with a single, two triples and a home run. He was a double away from hitting for the cycle.Reddy wasn?t the only Ranger with a hot bat. Gisonno had a single, double, triple and five RBI; Zach Domey had an inside-the-park home run in the third inning; Tim Nerich was hit by a pitch, walked, singled and tripled; Aubrey Conners had two singles, a double and four RBI; and Willie Miller played a mean first base, making a diving stop on a ball in the first inning (when the game was still close) to save two runs.Pine Hill will play the loser of the suspended Lynn Shore/Wyoma game Wednesday at 7 p.m. All games are at Wyoma.Lynn Shore vs. WyomaLynn Shore and Wyoma, both undefeated in the City Series, locked horns in the first game Monday. In the second inning, with Wyoma leading 2-1, Wyoma?s Jesse Maags was hit in the head by a pitch. He left the game and was later checked out at a hospital.It was agreed by the coaches, Mike Sullivan of Shore and Bob Alcock of Wyoma, and the tournament officials that the game would be continued to today (Tuesday) at Wyoma at 5:45 p.m.Prior to the game being suspended, Wyoma had scored wo runs with Bobby Alcock driving one in on a double. Lynn Shore?s Andy Duverge hit a double in he the bottom of the first and he scored on a single by David Stepan.
