The stage is set for tonight?s Lynn Parks and Recreation Summer Evening Basketball championship games, where East Lynn will meet West Lynn for city bragging rights.The games begin at 5 p.m. at Marian Gardens.On Wednesday, East Lynn held its championship games. In the elementary school division, Lynn Firefighters defeated Old Tyme, 45-37. Ismael Paulino had 14 points for Lynn Firefighters and Jeremy Jaquez, seven points for Old Tyme.In the middle school division, McLaughlin Trucking defeated Lynn Teachers Union, 45-38, led by Jeffrey Barbosa (20 points). Eddison Howard had 15 points for Lynn Teachers Union.In the high school division, Community Credit Union defeated Lazy Dog, 67-64. Anthony Silfa had 26 points for the winners and Calvin Johnson, 27 points for Lazy Dog.If tonight?s games have to be moved inside because of the rain, they?ll be played at Lynn Tech and will start at 6 p.m. If they?re outside, they start at 5 p.m. with the elementary championship game played first, followed by the middle school and then high school divisions.
