Woman charged with larceny, fraud for Revere firefighter wallet theft

REVERE ? A woman faces theft and fraud charges after allegedly walking into the fire station and stealing a firefighter’s wallet while crews were fighting a blaze.Aleesha Mceachern, 32, is scheduled to be arraigned in Chelsea District Court Monday on charges including larceny from a building; three counts of identity fraud; three counts of credit card fraud -$250; and attempt to commit a crime, credit card fraud -$250; according to Revere Police.Revere Police credited the public for numerous tips after surveillance photos showing the suspect were distributed among media outlets.?As a direct result of numerous tips from the public, Revere Police Detectives were able to conduct a thorough investigation and get a complaint against Mceachern,” Revere Police said in a statement.Mceachern is currently being held at the Suffolk House of Correction on an unrelated matter, according to Revere Police.
