LYNN – All of the fundraiser proceeds will go towards helping girls in the community with a clean, fun, safe environment to interact and to give them the skills they need in order to develop self-confidence and high self-esteem to become responsible young ladies of today, tomorrow and the future.The evening included cocktails, food, music, autographs, a fashion show featuring eco-friendly clothing, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees had a chance to meet some local favorites, such as former Red Sox players Billy Conigliaro and Dennis Ray “Oil Can” Boyd.The La Chic students strutted their fashions down the runway and exuded self-confidence. They were given a surprise when Macy’s of Saugus, with the help of Glo Media Lounge in Lynn, announced that they were donating the outfits for the girls to keep.La Chic thanked Dineen Bartolo for organizing the event, Plum Consignments of Beverly and La Petite Boutique of Winthrop, GLO Media of Lynn and Macy’s of Saugus.
