LYNN — The North Shore Generals are back at it tonight at Manning Field (7) for their fourth game of the season.The Generals will be in action against the Merrimack Valley Pride, with both teams looking for their first victory.Last week, the Generals traveled to Bowditch Field in Framingham to play the Metrowest Colonials. After leading the whole game, the Generals lost in the final seconds.The North Shore Generals got off to a good start getting on the board first with a 30 yard touchdown pass by quarterback Kelvin Amparo of Gloucester to Dimitri Denis of Lynn.In the second quarter, the Colonials scored with a 25 yard field goal by James Callahan.In the General?s next drive, Kelvin Amparo threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Jesse Pearce of Gloucester.The point-after attempt was missed putting the score at 13-3 going into halftime.Both teams scored late in the third quarter.The Colonials QB Miguel Ortiz faked a pass and then ran it in.The point after attempt was good.Then the Generals QB Kelvin Amparo threw a 55 yard touchdown pass to Dimitri Denis followed by a failed 2-point conversion attempt.In the fourth quarter, the Colonials Adrian DeJesus scored on a 12 yard run.The point after attempt was good bringing the score to 19-17. The Generals tried to protect their lead with a 36 yard field goal attempt.It was unsuccessful and the Colonials regained possession.In the final two seconds, the Colonials? James Callahan kicked a 22 yard field goal to win the game by 1 point with a final score of 20-19.
