Lynn man charged with murdering girlfriend

BOSTON ? Boston Police have arrested and charged a Lynn man with murder in connection with a year-long investigation into the death of the man’s girlfriend.Chhoeut Chin, 42, of Lynn, was arrested in Lowell Friday on a warrant charging him with murder in the Aug. 1, 2013 death of his girlfriend, Sherry Bradley, 32, and also of Lynn, according to a press release from the Boston Police Department.Boston Police reported responding to the area of 800 Border St. in East Boston in August 2013 for reports of a found body. Officers identified the deceased as Bradley. Her death was ruled a homicide by the Office of the Medical Examiner in April 2014, according to police.An investigation by Boston Police detectives and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office led to officers seeking a warrant for Chin’s arrest. The warrant was granted Thursday; and Chin was found and arrested in Lowell Friday, police said.Chin is scheduled to be arraigned in East Boston District Court at a later date on the charge of murder.
