Peabody Champions defeated the Kingston Night Owls 11-1 on Thursday to take a 3-2 lead in the NSBL finals.Game Six in the best-of-seven series is tonight (7:30) at Twi Field. Game Seven would be Saturday (2) at Twi.Yesterday, the game was shortened in the bottom of the sixth inning after Champions scored five runs and the 10-run rule went into effect.Having standout games for Peabody were: Greg Ladd (complete game, 2 H, 6 K); Chad Martin (3 H, 4 RBI, 1 RS); Dave Ruggiero (2 H, 3 RS) and Mark Shorey (3-run homer in fifth).Tonight Kingston will go to its ace, Steve Considine, while Peabody will counter with Tyler Leavitt.
