Gannon Ladies hold invitational

The Gannon Ladies Innerclub held its first Annual Invitational Golf Tournament on Aug. 20 under the new leadership of David Sibley, Golf Pro at Gannon. Women from all over the North and South Shore came to play at Gannon, some for the first time. It was a 2-person Best Ball shotgun, run by Jay Varriano, Joyce Agganis, Gail Conlon and Chris Lynch.Winners of the tournament were:Low Gross with a 78 was Riki Allen from Sagamore and Janet Brown from Sandpiper.Second low gross with an 81 were Peg Pinsky and Marlene Mahoney from Vesper.Winning Low net with a score of 62 was Kate Brown and Tara O?Donnell from William J. Devine.Second low net with a 65 was Michelle Kane from Kernwood and Nancy McCarthy from Tedesco.Third low net with a 66 was Judy Corson from Wenham and Barbara Horwood from Sagamore.Fourth low net with a 69 was Karen Miller and Cindy Rodzen from Ould Newbury.
