Work has begun to replace sidewalks on Broadway, and a contractor for the city will be paving Euclid Avenue on Thursday night.The Lynn Department of Public Works has issued advisories that sidewalk work has begun on Broadway between Boston Street and Springvale Avenue to excavate and eventually replace the sidewalks.Hours of work on Broadway will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until the work is completed, and residents and motorists are advised to keep off the sidewalks during that time.Then, between 6 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday, D&R Contractors will need to restrict access to Euclid Avnue.For further information call the public works department at 781-268-8000.
