DUXBURY ? State Police said a Revere woman died in a single-vehicle crash on Route 3 Sunday.Marisa K. DiMeo, 33, of Revere, was killed when her 2013 Kia Optima crashed on Route 3 Southbound in Duxbury between exits 10 and 11 at approximately 2:55 p.m. Sunday, according to state police.The vehicle and surrounding brush were on fire after the crash, and emergency responders determined DiMeo was deceased at the scene, police said.The crash closed the two travel lanes of the highway as crews worked to extinguish the flames and police investigated the incident.Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
