The English golf team picked up its first win, defeating Revere, 42 1/2-28 1/2, at Gannon.The Bulldogs (1-3) had a brush with victory a day earlier in a “one putt” loss to Peabody, but they prevailed Thursday. Matt Sencabaugh halved his match against Maxx Anderson at No. 1; Mathieu Bruno defeated David Sinatra at two, 6 1/2-2 1/2; Jon Calnan defeated Chris Anderson in the three spot, 7 1/2-1 1/2; Chris Cole defeated Kevin Shirley at four, 8-1; Bubba Comeau won in the five slot, 8-1, and Matt Cole defeated Julie Sinatra at No. 6, 5-4.?I?m very excited for them,” coach Tara Friedman said. “Losing by one point yesterday and winning today.
