Shots fired into Lynn residence; no injuries

LYNN – Police said nobody was hurt when several shots were fired into the second floor of a Magnolia Avenue home early Saturday morning.Police responded at 3:18 a.m. Saturday to the Flax Pond area on reports of shots fired, but officers did not locate any disturbance, Lynn Police Lt. Lucas Dean said Sunday evening. Three hours later, police responded to 103 Magnolia St., where a resident reported finding several bullet holes in the walls of the home, police said.Dean said police also found several shell casings at the scene outside the home. He said there were no reported injuries. Police had not identified any suspects as of Sunday evening and said the incident remains under investigation.
