LYNN – The Lynn Woods summer cross country races wrapped up the season Wednesday. In the 2.3-mile Left on Goat Path race, Lynn’s Doug Wilson took first (15:38) followed by Dan Curtis of Danvers (18:53) and Paul Arrington, also of Danvers (19:25). Janis Emerton of Newburyport was the top female finisher, taking seventh overall (21:19).Matt Veiga of Lynn won the 3.9-mile Penny Bridge Out and Back race (23:55). Warren MacPhail of Winthrop took second (24:22) and Michael Smith of Beverly finished third (24:31). Erin Hickey Reardon of Reading was the top female finisher, taking 17th (28:10) and Jennifer Sverker was the top female finisher from Lynn (29:11). Several other local runners also did well including Christopher Stank of Lynn (25:02); Nakri Dao of Lynn (25:15); Al Zmieski, Lynnfield (25:34); Nicholas Curtis, Marblehead (26:15); Dan Skrip, Nahant (27:29); Rich Lally, Lynn (27:40); Jennifer Downing, Peabody (28:54); Bob Callanan, Marblehead (29:34) and Joe Conlon, Lynn (29:38).In the 1.59-mile kids race, Liam Powell of Swampscott took first (12:42); Colby Brown, Peabody, second 912:48) and Cade Buckley, Peabody (12:48), third. Rounding out the field were Michael Kelley, James Dao, Christopher, Kelley, John Smart, Johnny Smart and Julia Smart, all of Lynn.
